Meet Our New Albany Chiropractors & Wellness Team
Dr. Bryan Guess
Dr. Guess is a dedicated chiropractor committed to helping patients overcome pain and achieve optimal health. His interest in chiropractic care was sparked at a young age after witnessing its powerful impact on his father, who found immediate relief from a debilitating headache. Later, as a student-athlete, Dr. Guess personally experienced the life-changing benefits of chiropractic care after suffering from severe low back pain that was misdiagnosed by medical staff. This experience solidified his decision to pursue a career in chiropractic, aiming to provide others with the same root-cause healing he received.
Dr. Guess completed his undergraduate studies at Murray State University and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Atlanta, GA. With over 11 years of experience, he has practiced in three different states and is currently licensed in both Kentucky and Indiana. As one of the few chiropractors in Indiana with spinal trauma qualifications, Dr. Guess also holds an AAMT certification in dry needling and is a current member of the ISCA.
His areas of expertise include spinal trauma care, spinal decompression, dry needling, and lower extremity care. He is also a firm believer in regenerative medicine, having successfully undergone treatment for both his knees and shoulder, which led to a full recovery. This personal success with regenerative medicine has motivated him to offer it as a treatment option in his practice via the medical staff.
Dr. Guess believes that true wellness is not just about how one feels, but how well the body is functioning. He takes pride in helping patients eager to restore their health and live pain-free lives.
Outside of the office, Dr. Guess and his wife, Denise, reside in Louisville, KY, where they enjoy traveling, outdoor activities, attending live music events, working on home improvement projects, and supporting local collegiate sports.

Dr. Christopher Wynn
Dr. Christopher Wynn, DC was born and raised in Hammond, Indiana. His parents moved him to Western Kentucky during his early teenage years, where he and Dr. Guess became friends on the football field. 35 years of friendship has led Dr. Wynn and Dr. Guess to team up once again and live out their biggest dreams of building a strong community-based health and wellness practice.
Dr. Wynn was exposed to chiropractic at a very early age. Dr. Wynn suffered a severe fall from a slide that led to an unaware problem in his lower back. At age 14, while attempting to set a powerlifting record, he felt a “pop” in his lower back and immediately fell to his knees. Seeking medical attention, it was believed to be a strained muscle. Years later, while in chiropractic college, he woke with an inability to walk without excruciating pain in his ankle. It was determined by his chiropractor that he had broken his back many years ago, believed to be the “pop” that he felt. After being told surgery was his only option by many physicians, he knew that there had to be another way. Through research and faith he found a chiropractor that treated with non-surgical spinal decompression and rehabilitation exercises. He was mentored by him and has remained pain-free and symptom free ever since.
This experience led Dr. Wynn to his life’s work of becoming the best diagnostician and chiropractic physician he can be.
Dr. Wynn is a 2012 graduate of Life University, the world’s largest chiropractic college. His graduate and post graduate work brings extensive knowledge of spinal disc injuries, sports injuries, as well as general health and wellness to the community. His career has allowed him to practice from the Atlanta, Georgia and Nashville, Tennessee regions, to his own community and high school home in western Kentucky, operating and managing some of the highest patient volume offices in the nation, including one of the top Non-Surgical Decompression Therapy Centers in the country.
Dr. Wynn’s practice philosophy:
“Finding the cause of a problem, not just treating a symptom, is the best way to ensure proper care and treatment. Because your health and my reputation go hand in hand and I am not willing to sacrifice either one of them”.
When Dr. Wynn is not working, he and his wife Denette love traveling and sightseeing. He may also be seen around the community golfing, fishing, bicycling, or at the local farmer’s market buying fresh ingredients to fill his passion for cooking. If you see him, please say hello…He loves to talk!
Tim Miller, MeD, PT
Tim Miller has been serving the southern Indiana community for the last 28 years as a Physical Therapist. Prior to attaining his degree in physical therapy, Tim was a teacher and assistant Football Coach at New Albany High School. He also taught exercise classes at a local gym. While teaching biology, chemistry and leading football training sessions, Tim realized he had a deep interest in how the human body functions.
An opportunity arose where Tim could go back to school and attain his degree in Physical Therapy. Graduating in 1996 from the University of Louisville, Tim started his career at Clark Memorial hospital. After working there 2 years he joined the staff at 1st Choice Health and Wellness. He has been there working with clients for the last 25 years. Tim has developed various skills in manual therapy, taping and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization over the years. He tailors each treatment to the individual’s needs.
Tim has been married to his wife Kelly for 23+ years (because she doesn’t want everyone to know how long it has been). They have two children; Maddy (22) a recent graduate of UofL, certified to teach moderate/severely handicapped children, and Zane(18) a soon to be Arts Management student at Elon University in North Carolina. They have been active members of Northside Christian Church for 23+ years. (You know why.)
Robin Riesenberg, Office Manager
My name is Robin Riesenberg and I have been the Office Manager at 1st Choice going on 30 years in September. I went to Atherton High School and was a member of the National Honors Society. I went on to attend the University of Louisville. I am married to my hilarious husband Mark for 17 years and we have 3 children Kevin, Kelsey & Kyle and one spunky grandchild Blake.
I was offered a job at a chiropractic office while in college and I thought that would be a good fit. One day I had to call in sick because my son had a fever. The doctor said just bring him with you. He asked if it would be ok if he adjusted him to get rid of his fever. I was perplexed not knowing how he could do that. The doctor adjusted his spine and within minutes his fever was gone. He has gotten regular adjustments and has been the healthiest child.
In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, working and, believe it or not, I love sports!
